How it works

How oncology conference sponsorship works, component by component

Oncology conference sponsorship is usually sold as tiers with metal names, but what you are really buying is a bundle of five components. Comparing events gets much easier once you price and question each component separately.

Here is what each component does for a sponsor, what to ask any organiser about it, and how it works at ImmunoMark.

ComponentWhat it buys youAsk the organiserAt ImmunoMark
Speaking slotCredibility and a reason for buyers to seek you out afterwardsWhich day and time? Which room? Is there Q&A?30 minutes on Day 1 (Platinum) or Day 2 pre-lunch (Gold); 15 minutes Day 2 post-lunch (Silver); all with Q&A, in the stream you choose
Pre-scheduled meetingsGuaranteed time with named buyersWho picks the counterpart? How long? How many? You pick from the full delegate list and profiles sent 10 days before; 20 minutes each; 15, 10 or 6 meetings on Headline, Platinum and Gold
Exhibition spaceA base for demos and drop-in conversationsSize, furniture, power, where the breaks are served10 x 6 ft booth with a table, two chairs and a power outlet; 20 x 12 ft for the Headline sponsor
DataPre-event outreach and post-event follow-upContact details or names only? When does it arrive?Delegate list with contact details on every tier; final attendee list a week before for Headline, Platinum and Gold; wishlist feature for targeting
BrandingRecall across the roomIs it exclusive? What else is in the package?Exclusive options for bags, lanyards, drinks reception, breaks and lunch, each with 2 passes

The component sponsors most often underweight is data timing. A list that arrives a week or more before the event lets your team book follow-ups, warm up accounts and brief the people staffing your stand. A list that arrives after the event is a mailing list.

Choose by edition

Three editions, one sponsorship model

Packages and inclusions are the same at every ImmunoMark edition. What changes is the market each one reaches, so pick by where your buyers and your sales team sit.

Sponsors selling on both sides of the Atlantic often pair London with one US edition. Full inclusions are on the San Diego sponsorship page and the London sponsorship page. For Boston, our Boston ROI guide sets out the case for diagnostics and pharma suppliers.

Choose by stream

Immuno oncology conference sponsorship or biomarker conference sponsorship?

Platinum, Gold and Silver sponsors choose one of two parallel streams for their talk. The stream decides which buyers hear you speak, so match it to your product, not to the bigger-sounding title.

Stream 1: Next-Gen Immuno-Oncology

  • Cell therapy, multispecifics, vaccines and tumour microenvironment programmes
  • Suits IO research tools, immune monitoring, CDMOs and IO trial CROs
  • More on this stream: the immuno-oncology summit series

Stream 2: Biomarkers & Companion Diagnostics

  • Biomarker discovery, CDx co-development, regulatory and reimbursement
  • Suits assay developers, platform companies, central labs and CDx consultancies
  • More on this stream: the biomarker conference series
200+meetings conducted at London 2026
15–25meetings per sponsor at London 2026
55+pre-scheduled 1:1s delivered for title sponsors
70%senior decision-makers in the London 2026 audience

Meetings and booth traffic are not limited to your stream. Delegates move between rooms, and you pick meeting counterparts from the whole delegate list, so a Stream 2 sponsor can still meet IO programme leads.

Packages

Oncology conference sponsorship opportunities: which tier fits

For most marketing and BD leads comparing oncology events, the deciding factor is qualified meetings for the budget, with a talk to make those meetings easier to book.

Best fit

Platinum

The fullest version of every component except exclusivity, in the stream you choose.

  • 10 pre-scheduled 1:1 meetings
  • 30-minute Day 1 talk plus Q&A
  • 10 x 6 ft booth; 8 team and 8 client passes
  • 1-minute video promotion and email to registered attendees
  • Attendee list a week before
Balanced

Gold

The same structure at a smaller scale, with your talk on Day 2 before lunch.

  • 6 pre-scheduled 1:1 meetings
  • 30-minute Day 2 talk, pre-lunch
  • 10 x 6 ft booth; 6 + 6 passes
  • Half-page brochure advertisement
Category owner

Headline

Exclusive to one company per edition, for a sponsor that wants to own the event.

  • Welcome speech and 30-minute Day 1 keynote across both streams
  • 15 meetings; 10 + 10 passes
  • 20 x 12 ft exhibition space
  • “Powered by” branding and email to the full pre-qualified database

Booth-first budgets have their own options: see the exhibitor packages, which can be paired with 3, 5, 7 or 10 pre-arranged meetings.

Tell us your target roles and edition, and we will recommend a tier.

Focused or broad

Why a focused oncology event, not a broad medical conference sponsorship

Sponsoring a broad, multi-specialty medical meeting buys reach. That is useful for brand building, but most oncology vendors sell to a narrow set of roles: translational medicine, biomarker and CDx leads, clinical development and oncology BD. At a broad event those people are a small share of the room, and finding them is your job.

At ImmunoMark, 55–60% of the audience comes from biotech and pharma, 45–50% is senior leadership, and every delegate is there for oncology. That changes three things for a sponsor:

Fewer wasted conversations

Your team spends two days with people whose programmes could use your product or service.

Meetings you chose

Pre-scheduled 1:1s replace hoping the right person walks past the booth.

A talk that lands

An oncology audience hears an oncology case study as directly relevant, not as one session among dozens of specialties.

The same logic applies to any healthcare conference sponsorship decision: compare cost per qualified meeting, not cost per visitor. Our guide to biotech conference sponsorship shows how a focused series fits alongside partnering events and large congresses in a full-year budget.

Frequently asked questions

Are the packages the same at every edition?

Yes. Headline, Platinum, Gold, Silver, Exhibitor, Exclusive 1:1 Meetings and branding packages carry the same inclusions in San Diego, London and Boston. Prices are set out in each edition's prospectus, which you can request through the form on this page.

Which tiers include pre-scheduled 1:1 meetings?

Headline includes 15, Platinum 10 and Gold 6. Silver and Exhibitor do not include pre-scheduled meetings, but you can add them through the Exclusive 1:1 Meetings packages of 3, 5, 7 or 10 meetings. Each meeting lasts 20 minutes and you choose counterparts from the full delegate list and profiles, sent 10 days before the event.

Can we sponsor more than one edition?

Yes. Many vendors pair London, for European reach, with San Diego or Boston for the US. Talk to the sponsorship team about combining editions in one plan.

What proof is there that the meeting model works?

At London 2026, 300+ attendees from 100+ companies took part, 200+ meetings were conducted, sponsors held 15–25 meetings each and title sponsors received 55+ pre-scheduled 1:1 meetings. San Diego and Boston are launch editions using the same model.

When is the Boston edition?

Boston is a launch edition planned for June 2027 with 300+ attendees. Exact dates have not yet been announced; use the form to be kept informed.
